旅立ちの海唄（re:日本一周#57）

長崎最後の夜は親戚が集まって盛大な宴会が始まった。そんな宴会は平均年齢60歳超えなのに、日本酒4号瓶、焼酎一升瓶、数々のビールの空き缶が転がるという大学生顔負けの飲みっぷりだ。

九州の人たちは本当に飲む。よく飲む。これだけは確実に言える。

お湯割りを片手に今後の旅のこと、昔のヨコイシのこと、これからのこと。大好きな人たちとたくさん語る。

こんなに幸せなことあるんだろうか。

もう祖母はいないけど、それでも心から良くしてくれる親戚達に囲まれてお酒を飲む。

こんなに幸せなことなかなかないよね

宴は1時過ぎまで、8時間ぶっ通しで続いておひらきになった。

そして次の日の朝6時。あんなにお酒を飲んでいたのに、みんな嘘のようにケロッと起きてくれて、ヨコイシの見送りをしてくれた

ビシッと決まった集合写真。これ実はtake5くらいの末の写真

「やれ、位置が違う」だの「やれセルフタイマーが遅い」だの最後の最後まで賑やかな一族で安心した。

でも、失敗写真の方がみんなの素が出ていて好きなんだよね。全部宝物だ。

そしてお別れの時。

最後まで笑ってお別れ

チビ達元気でな。また虫取り魚とりやるぞ！

大きくなれよ

おじちゃん、おばちゃん。また一緒にお酒を飲むその日まで、元気でいてね。

俺も元気で走ります

そう心の中で思いながら朝日に向かって走る

お墓で眠る祖母にも「また来るよ」って心の中で約束して、旅立ちだ

いつまでも変わらない大切な場所はここにある

それがわかっただけで本当に幸せ者だなぁ

って思いながら走り始める

少し寂しいけど、感傷に浸るには早すぎるほどまだまだ旅は始まったばかりだったから

道端のひまわりが朝日に向かって顔を上げ始める。そんな今日は福岡で一番綺麗と言われる糸島半島を越えて宗像市まで行く道のりだ

お昼前には佐賀県を超えて糸島の青い海が見えてきた。今日も暑い日。だけどこんな日ほど海の青はより青くなる

青すぎる風に押されながら、寂しさも気づけば新たな旅路へのワクワクに変わる

寂しさなんか吹き飛ばすくらいに、日本は美しく青い国だった

青い海は時にエメラルドグリーンに変わる

立ち止まってそんな海を眺めれば眺めるほど、自然の色の無限の可能性と生命力を感じる

こんなに気持ちいい道を走れる自転車旅はやっぱり好きだ。どんなに暑い日だって青い翼が生えたみたいにどこまでも走っていけそうだ

二見ヶ浦という浜には鳥居と神聖な双子岩がそびえる。日本人の自然に対する崇拝の気持ちがあるからこそ、自然を美しく感じる気持ちに包まれて大切にしていくんだろうなぁと改めて感じる。

しばらくこの砂浜で海を眺めながらぼんやりそんなことを考えていたらお昼も過ぎていた

ここから宗像までは70キロくらいだ

走って走っていく

太陽が西に沈みかける頃に宗像市へ到着

今日はネットカフェでゆっくり休んで、明日はいよいよ九州編のラスト、そして本州へ戻っていく。
