30日目の今日は横石の旅史上最も意味がわからない場所で起床

国道沿いの空き家の裏の空き地。

徒歩旅はマジで寝床を見つけられない。

というかつぎの道の駅やキャンプ場まで辿り着けないことが多々ある

オーシャンビューの空き地だったけど、夜、波の音が逆に怖くなるから海沿いの野宿はあまりオススメしない

といってもやっぱり疲れてる分ちゃんと寝れるもんで、しっかり寝て5時には起きてテントを片付ける。

普段はテントを片付けた後ゆっくりするのだが、今日はそうもいかなかった。

もちろんここが私有地かも分からない空き地だったのもあるが、それ以上に曇り予報だった天気が1日雨に変わっていたから。

ということでパンにマヨネーズという相変わらずさみしい朝飯を済ませて

まだ降ってない朝のうちに出発して距離を稼ごうということで朝の6時には歩き出す。

そんな今日の旅路

歩きだしてすぐに雨がぱらつき出す

早くも降り出す雨にテンションが下がる

そんな時に後ろから「おはよーーございまーーす！！」と聞いたことのある声で車が通り過ぎて目の前で止まった

なんと昨日の夕方声をかけてもらってお世話になったなんとも快活なおばさまがわざわざきてくれたのだ！

まだホッカホカのおにぎりと

ゼリーにトマトにジュースに…

大量の差し入れを頂いてしまった

雨でテンションガタ落ちの中で、温かいおにぎりを持ってきてくれたおばさんの優しさと温かさに思わず泣きそうになる

おばさんは「邪魔しちゃ悪いから！」とお礼も早々に立ち去ってしまい…

残された2人はただ手を振るだけしかできなかった

でも心の底からほんわかと力が湧いてきて

雨がパラつく中、とりあえず10キロ先の道の駅を目指して足取りも軽く歩く

東北で二番目に高い名峰鳥海山を目の前に由利本荘市街に入って、5キロほど歩けば、つぎの道の駅にしめに辿り着く。

まだ朝の8時だが、とりあえず10キロ歩ききって、歯磨きやコンタクト、そしてトイレなど、空き地でできなかったことを済ませる

そしてまだまだ温かいおにぎりを頬張る

今度は本当に泣けてきた

冷えた身体に温かいおにぎりが染み渡る

元気な笑顔のおばさんの優しい顔と声が思い浮かぶ。

正直昨日からの左ふくらはぎ裏の痛みもまだ治っていなく、一歩歩くたびに痛む足と雨で苦しかった身体と気持ちが一気に楽になる

おにぎりは魔法だ。食べ物で気持ちと気持ちがこんなにつながるなんて。

おばさんの「頑張って！」という心からのエールを抱きしめて歩き出す。

痛む足も前に進む

秋田最後の町。にかほ市に入る頃には雨足は強くなるけど、それでも前に進む。

そしてまた10キロ進んでにかほ市街で雨宿り

後10キロで今日の目的地道の駅象潟だ

ここは24時間空いてる休憩所も温泉もあって夢のような道の駅。それだけで後10キロ頑張れそうだ。

さらに残りのおにぎりでパワーチャージもしたし準備は万端。雨の中を突っ込んでいく

雨は強くなる一方だけど、足は止まることがなかった。タクマはサンダルで一昨日歩いた時にできた大きなマメが潰れてしまったようで大幅に遅れていたが、あのおにぎりに元気をもらったんだからきっと辿り着くだろう

そして午後2時半には到着。

タクマも4時過ぎに辿り着いた。

朝早くでた分まだ時間もあったので

裏の海で釣り

岩場だったのでワームでロックフィッシュ狙いだがなかなか釣れないもんだ。こればっかりは数をこなして感覚を養っていくしか無い。

だけど最近は魚が少しずつ食いついてくれるようになって、釣りにも張り合いが出てきた

釣れたらそれは最高に嬉しいが、ワームでも魚が反応してくれるようになったという事実に成長を感じる。（ほんとはちゃんとした防波堤とかの釣り場でやりたいけどそんなとこでなかなか野宿しないしできないから、とりあえず適当な野宿地の近場の海で数をこなして経験を増やしていく作戦。やっぱりまずは自分でなんでもやってみなきゃ上達はないと思ってる）

そして夜は温泉に入って、道の駅で知り合った同世代ヒッチハイカーのじゅんぺいと乾杯。

久しぶりのお酒で気持ちよくなった

明日はいよいよ山形県に入る

天気も回復傾向らしいので明日からがまた楽しみだ
