夏の中へ（徒歩日本縦断#24）

24日目。快晴

テントに朝日が差し込んで目覚める

今日は道の駅なみおかから、道の駅いかりがせきを目指して歩く

快晴なので朝から津軽富士とも言われる百名山の岩木山がよく見える

田園風景の中を歩いていく

周りを赤とんぼを飛び回る

どうやら今は夏と秋の境目みたいだ

ギリギリまだ夏が勝っているだろうか

照りつける日差しの中、田んぼのあぜ道を歩く

あぜ道には普段は気づかないような小さく綺麗な花が咲き乱れている

青にピンクにねこじゃらし

少し座ってぼーっとしてたらねこじゃらしで背中がくすぐったい。

もう一生このままこの風景を眺めていたい気分になった

そして次の町。

名前からして「田舎だな」とこんなにわかる村はあるだろうか？

そしてどうやらこの村は「田んぼアート」なるものが有名らしい。

せっかく通るんだからと、少し立ち寄ってみる

これは本当に田んぼなのだろうか？

どうやら品種、期間の違う稲をそれぞれ絵に合うように植えているらしい。

びっくりするほど「絵」になっている

2016年は真田丸だったらしい。

真田丸ファンとしては2016年に来ておけばよかったと後悔。それにしても真田丸ってもうそんな昔なんだ…

そして石アートなるものもあった

まずはこちら、フーテンの寅さん

岩木山をバックにこのアートを作っているところがまた憎い演出である

というかマジで写真だな。これ

そして

昭和の歌姫、美空ひばり

本当に写真じゃんこれ。

でももう亡くなってるけど本人どんな気持ちなんだろう。笑

恥ずかしくないのかな？なんて思ってしまった

田舎館の田んぼアートは近くに来たから立ち寄ってみたが予想以上にクオリティが高かったのでオススメできる（稲刈りの前に来ないと意味ないよ！）

そんな田んぼアートを楽しんで、田舎館村を過ぎると

なつのくも

横石たちはどうやら夏に迷い込んだみたいだ

だって360度どこを見ても

どこまでも広がる青い空と

もくもくした入道雲と

活き活きとした緑に

囲まれてるんだもん

早く抜け出さなきゃ、異世界に迷い込みそうなくらい引き込まれる「夏」

でも抜け出したくなかった

あわよくばずっとこの中にいたい

久石譲の曲の中に迷い込んだみたいな、日本の夏がそこにあった

こんなに歩くのがもったいないと思ったことはないくらいにもう溶け込みたかった

溶けて消えて無くなりたかった

だけどそんなわけにもいかず…

歩みを進める

途中のコンビニで休憩

流石に暑い。快晴な分かなり暑くて、北海道の暑さに慣れていたからこそ体力の消耗が激しい

休憩を取ったあと、「さぁ行こうかー」となると、昨日から合流した和希が立ち上がった瞬間に「ピキッ」と音が聞こえた

明らかにおかしい音。和希が顔をしかめる。

「やっちゃいました」

どうやら重度の肉離れをしたようだ

和希は高校の時陸上の短距離でインターハイ出場まであと一歩まで行ったくらいのスポーツマンだ（100m11.1秒とか）

他にも駅伝の選手だったり、スポーツ万能な分横石とタクマも油断していた…

こうなってしまったら、もう歩ける状況ではなくなっていた。

全治1ヶ月はかかるだろうか？ここにきて歩き旅の厳しさを感じさせられる。バリバリのスポーツマンでも一筋縄ではいかないのだから。

和希はこのまま東京に帰ることになってしまう

だが歩くこともままならない今、それが最善の道だという結論になった

和希の「それでも歩きたい」という心意気は存分に受け止めて、和希と別れを告げ、また男2人で歩き始める。

相変わらずどこまでも夏が広がる道を

男2人で…

少し沈黙が漂っていた。

「歩く」という単純な行為の厳しさをまざまざと見せつけられたからか？

そんな沈黙を破ってくれたのは

用水路からなぜか流れてきたりんご。

「いやいくら青森だからってそれはないでしょ？！」思わず笑う

そしてせっかくの食料なので

青空の下、かぶりつく。

これがまた美味い。

まだまだ緑色でも全然美味しい。

2人ともこれで元気が出た。

青森からの贈り物だったのかな。

そう思いながらラストスパート。

ひたすら歩き続けて碇ヶ関へ

この道の駅は温泉も併設、ローソンもすぐそばのスーパーハイパーロイヤルホテルなのだ。

明日から天気も崩れるみたいなので、ここでしっかりと予定を組んで、また歩いていきたいと思う。
